This basketball court which was famously supported by Vince Carter in a 2003 in a project to give back to the local community through his initiative of Carter's Embassy of Hope, a charitable foundation he started in 1998. The park is located within the grounds of a 2 hectare park on Dixon Road near Kipling Avenue in Etobicoke. The park features this basketball court, a tennis court, sports pad and a children's playground. This space may not be available to the public during off-season, poor weather (snow, rain/storms/lightning etc), or during special events.
