Sunnyside Gus Ryder Outdoor Pool is perhaps Toronto's most popular and historical downtown outdoor public pool. It is located at the foot of Lakeshore Blvd. & Parkside Drive in Toronto. The pool is accessible by car (public parking a few meters away), by bike, skateboarding, longboarding or by walking/running alongside the Martin Goodman Trail. The pool also faces Sunnyside Boardwalk where you can enjoy views of the water and landscapes of the city. The hours of operation of this pool may be shared between lane swimming, recreational swimming and programs (permit usage). In days we have marked the space as "Closed", the pool time may be dedicated for a dedicated private program held at the pool. The City may impose closures (due to thunder, cold/poor weather conditions), extended hours (due to heat warnings), unavailability (due to maintenance and other reasons), and may also charge a small price for admission (which may vary by pool).
