About Monarch Park Outdoor Pool

Monarch Park Outdoor Pool is located within the grounds of 5 hectare park near Danforth and Coxwell Avenue in Toronto. The park itself features a dog off-leash area, a wading pool a children's playground and this gorgeous outdoor pool. During the winter there is also an artificial ice rink in operation. The swimming pool is 25m in length and also contains a diving area, two storey water slide, and a raised seating area. Monarch Park Pool also offers a variety of swimming lessons for all ages, including leadership classes and parent and tot classes. The hours of operation of this pool may be shared between lane swimming, recreational swimming and programs (permit usage). In days we have marked the space as "Closed", the pool time may be dedicated for a dedicated private program held at the pool. The City may impose closures (due to thunder, cold/poor weather conditions), extended hours (due to heat warnings), unavailability (due to maintenance and other reasons), and may also charge a small price for admission (which may vary by pool).
